network diagram
Inner Elements
story circle icon

Stories are depicted as circles, where the surrounding donut ring shows the mix of research disciplines among the people involved.

Each story is colored according to its most prevalent discipline and the more people that are connected, the larger the circle.

person diamond icon

People are represented by diamonds and colored according to their division.

They have strokes around them if connected to two or more stories (more strokes for more stories).

impact rounded hexagon icon

Impacts are represented by green-blue rounded hexagons and have a single stroke around them (to stand out). They are grouped according to their overall type of action, such as "Feel".

The vertical placement roughly follows an axis of those relating more to socioeconomic factors at the top to knowledge economy at the bottom.

The more stories that are connected to an impact, the larger the hexagon.
